Where is the folder I created?
SO folder is in main dashboard or as sub folder of some other there might have been an error telling you that folder was not created, try creating folder with some other name .. as folders are global on root folder so if I have Images you can't have images, create first folder
with the name of your website or nickname and then inside of that one create what ever name you want.

Our business needs dictate that we upload some duplicates but with different ids (in the same folder), when i try to do that your system somehow detects that the file has already been uploaded and does not upload the new one.
This is apparent when i try to push a different file using the same initial URL for example:
- old_url: http://example.com/1.jpg ... a picture of a cat
- new_url: http://example.com/1.jpg ... a picture of a dog
The new file gets uploaded but a _B is appended to its public id (the old one still exists), this tells me that you're comparing file signatures on the files upon upload.
Is there any solution to upload duplicates with different ids in the same folder, and is there a way for me to overwrite existing files?

I'm changing the public ID with each upload so its not a duplicate ID issue ... basically i'm trying to upload the same file twice, but each time with a different public ID ... but I can't

I am looking for a bit more of an explanation on file privacy.
I want my website members to be able to download files within a closed self-hosted LMS (learning management system) from the Publit.io URLs I provide my website users but I don't want the URLs to be publicly found anywhere else (ideally, the URLs can't be shared from a member to a non-member either).
How does the Privacy toggle work?
I also want my users to be able to listen to audio files (hosted on Publit.io) on my site, and similarly I don't want them to be listenable/downloadable anywhere else but on the page I use them.
Thanks Publitio for the information. This information helped me understand better that Domain Level protection is something I would like to enable. So I am testing Domain Level Protection. After I made this change, my embedded files gave me an error that domain level protection was stopping me from using (Despite me using the correct domain). Does it take some time for the error to go away?
Change thumbnail
To set a custom thumb for your video, follow these simple steps :
1. Upload Video at https://publit.io/dashboard/files
2. Upload an Image you want to use as a custom thumb at https://publit.io/dashboard/files
3. Edit Video by clicking Edit under the "..." and going to edit a page at https://publit.io/dashboard/files
4. Look there for the Thumbnail field, and search/select Image you want to use as a custom thumb. Save changes by clicking Update button at the end of the page.
That's it. Your video will now have a custom thumb set

Not sure if this is the right place to post this...
I have to feature requests that I think would greatly improve usability.
1. The ability to rearrange files and folders. For instance alphabetically (or manually). This would really go a long way in terms of organizing posts.
2. Bulk actions. For instance if I would like to turn of (or on) Url based transformations for a 100 files. I have to do them one by one.. It would be great if I could do them simultaneously.
Other than that - thank you for an amazing platform. Amazing support. At an amazing price.

Hey, all this is all ready planed, we are aware that we are missing this simple features, we are working on adding them and few more.
Bulk options all ready exist in our side for some stuff it will be implemented for user accounts soon.
We are working on multiple features they will be released soon.
It seems that publitio doesn't work in Russia. Everytime I try to upload any kind of file, error pups up.
But when I turn VPN on it starts working.
